Planning Commission Meeting Agenda

SUSQUEHANNA TOWNSHIP  JAUGUST 25, 2008
PLANNING COMMISSION TIME:  7:00 P.M.
1. Approval of Minutes – July 28, 2008.

2. PROPOSED TEXT AMENDMENT – A Request from Rick Szeles to amend the signage regulations in our current Zoning Ordinance as it relates to Business Parks. The proposed Amendments relate to Section 204 – Definitions, Section 2406 – Permitted Permanent Signs, and Section 2408 – Signs Visible from an Interstate Highway.

3. BLUE MOUNTAIN COMMONS – A Request from Cedar Clock Tower, LLC to have the Planning Commission recommend to the Board of Commissioners that the provisions of the Susquehanna Township Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance be waived, in their entirety, with respect to the required fee simple taking of the additional right-of-way areas as mandated by PennDOT. The property is located at 2300 Linglestown Road and is located in the CH, Commercial Highway District.

4. ST. MARGARET MARY ALACOQUE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH – A Preliminary/Final Land Development Plan for an 18,950 square foot church, 19,000 square foot social hall/office and a rectory. The property is located at the Northwest intersection of Paxton Church Road and Crums Mill Road in the R-1, Low Density Residential District.

5. TEMPLAR DEVELOPMENT, LLC – A Preliminary/Final Land Development Plan & Subdivision Plan for a 13,225 square foot pharmacy and a commercial building 3,600 to 6,400 square feet in size. The property is located on the Southwest corner of Progress Avenue and Elmerton Avenue in the CN, Commercial Neighborhood Zoning District.

6. LINGLESTOWN ROAD REZONING – A Map Amendment Request by property owners/residents located in the 1800 and 1900 block of Linglestown Road. The request is to seek a Map Amendment from R-1, Low Density Residential to CN, Commercial Neighborhood.
